Android Wear Gets Experimental Offline Step Counting

Android wear is a platform in development, as proved by Google’s repeated updates, bringing characteristics like third-party watch face support and more big changes in regular updates. One that also reached in a latest software change is comfort for offline step tracking, meaning you can yet log movement with your device even when it’s not in connected with your smartphone.

As GigaOM notes, this is yet an innovate feature, but it’s a good one for those expecting to use their Android Wear smartwatches as activity trackers.
Google already paved the path for this with a characteristics that comes offline music playback and Bluetooth headset connectivity to Android Wear devices, and comfort for GPS on the watch itself throw  local software, because the watch has an GPS sensor.
I would hope to see Google stay to support the device-independent superpowers of Android Wear OT (over time), but in a gradual deliver of characteristics with operation first, to see what makes sense, and what impact as more or less characteristics bloat
