Audi rumored to challenge Tesla’s Model X with an all-electric SUV of its own

Tesla has been on a stable rise from the begin debuting strong in a globe where all-electric vehicles were known little regard plus supplanted its fame with the manufacturer’s award-charming Model S sedan. It only stands to cause that it expands to other parts plus its here that the up-and-comer has become an influence in its individual right.
With the EV automaker gearing equipment up for the initiate of its Model X all-electric crossover, Audi is supposed to be setting up a competitive, all-electric SUV of its own.
Automotive News information that, in a current meeting in with Bloomberg into Berlin, Audi AG CEO Rupert Stadler confirmed that a zero-emission vehicle is into the works. “It’s most likely going to be a crossover, except development work is at rest ongoing,” the CEO added.
This isn’t unusual of Audi, who previously has the A3 e-tron plug-in hybrid set to roll off assembly subsequently year and the all-electric R8 e-tron sports car being delivered through its incomplete production run
So what should Tesla imagine to run into on the way to electric crossover superiority? Nothing has been put in stone, but earlier rumors swirl about the idea that a powering similar to the one in the R8 e-tron, made up of 2 electric motors driving the front plus rear wheels separately, will discover its way in the Q8 crossover set to put back Audi’s present Q7 (pictured above).
